Seriously though, loving the podcast. Best thing you guys have ever produced.

*insert another ego boosting comment here, for good measure*

  2. I giggle like an idiot when I hear the intro for the Nic Cage Memorial Bizarre Line Reading. Huge fan of the podcasts, adore the commentaries, wanna have your babies.

  3. I think it was a tremendous mistake to tell Nicolas Cage not to talk to Robert Downey Jr. while locked up with him in the drunk tank of the Robert DeNiro somethingsomething prison. They have a lot to teach each other: Robert Downey can teach Cage the value of carefully choosing projects and building a strong brand, and Cage can show Downey that making interesting choices makes for a more interesting performance. I hope Cage and Downey emerge focused and humbled respectively and make better movies.

My work is boring tonight. Thanks God for the Film Pigs.

    1. I think our fear is that, while ideally a Cage/Downey Jr. meeting would result in them learning from each other’s strengths, the more likely outcome would be them reinforcing each other’s weaknesses and we’d end up with a series of extra-terrible buddy movies.

  4. I’m embarrassed to say no Tomatometer rating could keep me from seeing a Cage/Downey buddy cop comedy.
