  1. I wish I had shouted that at my graduation ceremony, “Hey everybody! We’re all gonna get college degrees!”

I’m a child of the 80s and 90s, so ‘Animal House’ is sadly nothing more than a movie title to me. But I think I know what the next time I’m ordering on Netflix is. Glad to have the podcasts back!

    1. I can’t believe it, but Animal House is not available on Netflix. American Pie Presents: Beta House is available, but no Animal House. Something is seriously wrong at Netflix.

It is, however, available to rent at Amazon Instant Video if you’ve got that capability. This is the only reason I can think of why Jeff Bezos is a better CEO than Reed Hastings.

  2. Great to have the Pigs back!

Special mention should go to the classic Homer Goes to College episode of The Simpsons.

  3. The Zooey and Sam Jackson iPhone ads are the worst. However, that Clint Eastwood GM ad wouldn’t have had the same effect with a no-name actor.

I really have kind of the same complaint with animated movies, too. Like sure, Kung Fu Panda is great with Dustin Hoffman and Jack Black as the leads. But there’s no reason to horn in Seth Rogan, Lucy Leu, and David Cross in bit roles that could easily go to talented voice actors cheaper.

    1. Video games are becoming increasingly guilty of this – giving bitroles to celebrities rather than working voice actors.

      1. Could you possibly be referring to MASS EFFECT 3 and that Chobot chick?

I’d never heard of her but I know the fanboys were outraged at her casting.
