This is truly an epic episode of The Bacon on The Film Pigs Podcast. It took Todd nearly 20 minutes to conceive of this ultimate showdown. And the nice thing is, we recorded this episode in his office, where there was a multitude of DVDs to reference for accuracy. Which we did once, because we are lazy and don’t like to reach for things on high shelves.

I hate slasher films (even Halloween; sorry), but I loved this episode.

The HELLRAISER remake development has been a disaster. I was looking good for a while since they hired very talented French horror filmmakers like INSIDE directors Bustillo and Maury, then when they left the project MARTYRS director Pascal Laugier was onboard for a while. But he left when Dimension said “Can’t it just be sexy teenagers…” *shudder*
By all accounts both teams had very extreme visions for the film, which Dimension just couldn’t handle, even quietly suggesting that the picture would be PG-13.
I’d love to read their scripts or treatments.
