Former 1980s teen movie actor and heartthrob Corey Haim died early Wednesday, authorities said. (via CNN)
It’s a strange feeling, like hearing about the passing of someone you knew in high school but haven’t talked to in years.

Of all the ‘Two Coreys’ movies I’ve got a particular soft spot for DREAM A LITTLE DREAM. It has Corey Feldman at the height of his Michael Jackson phase, Meredith Salanger’s awesome boobies and a great soundtrack.
Oh man, I felt a bit of my childhood die when I heard that. I spent a lot of time watching Lost Boys and Dream a Little Dream, Watchers, License to Drive and Lucas. The very worst part though, when I mentioned his passing to someone at work, they said “who?”.
When I first heard about it, I said, “You mean THAT Corey Haim? The guy from ‘The Lost Boys’ and ‘Dream A Little Dream?’” I was in total shock; I couldn’t believe it. It’s a very sad loss.
