How To Sync Commentary To DVD Playback

  • Download commentary. (Seriously, if you had to be told to do this, just quit now…)
  • Rent or own the corresponding DVD. (Again, if this is confusing, let’s stop wasting each other’s time.)
  • Cue up the DVD to chapter 1 and pause it.
  • Cue up the commentary. (On your iPod, computer, whatever. If you’re really fancy you’ll figure out a way to mix it into your home theater, smart guy. What do you want, a medal?)
  • Start the DVD. When chapter 1 reaches 10 seconds, start the commentary.
  • If you screw it up, you know, try it again. The Internets can’t help you now.
