GeekNation Show #110 – Warm and Fuzzies

Steve Hicks, the writer, director, editor, and producer of the feature film Fuzz Track City (starring the Pig called Todd) joins Steve Falk and Todd Anderson to talk the week’s latest releases, drink some popcorn, and read love letters to their favorite movies of the 90s. That’s right, the Pigs are in love and they aren’t afraid to shout it from the rooftops…or at least from in front of their concession stand.

  1. Great episode.

5:10 – Suddenly, a wild Kether appears. And Skelton is clearly gay.

The best movie of the 90’s is FARGO, no doubt. I would have said LA CONFIDENTIAL if they didn’t completely fuck up Ellroy’s ending.

A very close second is Sam Raimi’s A SIMPLE PLAN. It’s as tight and twisted as FARGO but not quite as precious. And Billy Bob Thornton was fucking astonishing, especially since he was coming off SLING BLADE at the time.

    1. I was still on edge because we shot that the same night as the all-ladies show where I got beat up by all the ladies. And Kether slit Todd’s throat. It was my ‘Nam.
