Sounds to me like a commentary for HARD TARGET is in order.
Respect the Vosloo! He’s a professional.
This would make Todd very happy. He loves Hard Target.
The extended workprint version (available only on bootleg) has a lot more violence and more JCVD and Wilford Brimley singing in French.
Great episode, well, actually they’re all great, but this one was great! As far as Senior Actors go, one of my favorites was Professional Old Person William Hickey (Prizzi’s Honor), who didn’t even live to be 70, but always seemed to be playing someone who was pushing 700. One of my favorite movies about Old People is Homebodies, which the trailers would have you believe is a zany Cannonball Run-style comedy, but it’s more of a depressing horror film about what senior citizens resort to when they’re being forced out of their pensioners’ apartment building. Worth a watch…
Hickey was always great (“The blessing!”).
Haven’t seen Homebodies, but the IMDb-reported tagline “A Murder a Day Keeps the Landlord Away!” makes it sound like old people committing multiple homicides, which makes me want to watch it.
