GeekNation Show #12: MisTaken

The Film Pigs are back with their twelth episode! Not only do they fearlessly skewer the movies themselves, but also take you on a journey behind the scenes of the entertainment industry. Before a movie hits the theater, before it is edited, before it is shot, before it is even written…some poor screenwriter has to convince a studio executive that there is a movie in his or her story. All at GeekNation.com!

GeekNation Show #9: Take it or Joseph Gordon-Levitt

The Pigs tell you whether you should see the latest scary cartoon for kids, take another shot at seeing the new Paul Thomas Anderson movie, and uncover some amazing deleted scenes from popular feature films. All at GeekNation.com!

MOVIE COMMENTARY: Total Recall (1990)

poster_totalrecallGet your ass to Mars! The Film Pigs are back with a new alternate commentary for the Arnold Schwarzenegger classic TOTAL RECALL! Given the super-dull remake, this exercise in 90s over-the-topness is a breath of fresh air (Cohaagen!). And by “air” we mean a preposterous storyline, ludicrous blood-squib violence, a truly impressive amount of scene-ending quips, and the smoldering rage of Canada’s own negative emotion repository Michael Ironside. Open your miiiiiiinnnnd!

TO SYNC WITH MOVIE: start this commentary 10 seconds after starting movie (chapter 1 for DVD/BD).

MOVIE REVIEW: Prometheus

For thirteen glorious uncut minutes the Pigs discuss the latest Ridley Scott picture as well as Men In Black III, Battleship, and Rock of Ages. There are important lessons here, you guys. This isn’t just a bunch of guys on a porch discussing movies. It’s a bunch of guys on a porch discussing movies AND drinking beers. (Pro tip: watch out for water snakes with vagina heads…they’re really mean.)
