Someone Please Get Dan Aykroyd The Help He Clearly Needs

Even though I think it’s a terrible idea, I don’t bash Dan for wanting to do another Ghostbusters movie, but this:

Aykroyd hinted that Bill Murray may not return as Peter Venkman, and that the character could be played by a different actor, a la Jack Ryan. (via Empire)

This is obviously a cry for help. At this point, Murray’s willingness to do Ghostbusters 3 is probably the best indicator of whether or not Ghostbusters 3 should actually be made. We can only hope Dan’s friends and family intervene.

Finally Saw It: Cowboys & Aliens

Normally, I would have seen a movie like this in theaters. It’s a silly action concept right up my alley, the kind of thing I usually enjoy. But the trailer…wasn’t right. Hard to put my finger on it but the previews just didn’t pop. So I gave it a pass and waited until it was available to pull from the orifice of a Redbox kiosk.
